Mzansi’s Kings & Kweens celebrate Moët Party Day in style

Look, I hyped up Moët Party Day, because it really was spectacular and it lived up to all my expectations and more this year. Moët Party Day is quickly becoming the event to to celebrate where ever you are, across the globe. Naturally, I started my day with a Moët Pre-Party Brunch with champagne (lots of it) and a few friends over at my place. But the real party began, when Mzansi’s stars hit their red soles on the red carpet at the exclusive event at The Four Seasons at the Westcliff. The first person I saw was the lovely Nomzamo Mbatha, fresh from her New York travels. I literally fan-girl over her whenever I see her. Literally screaming! She is lovely, sweet and über talented. As we got to the top of the stairs…my mantra, a word I love by, Beyoncé taught us all to: “SLAY” in a big balloon installation. EPIC! Have to have a picture there! As I turned, another waiter offered to fill up my glass. Where am I? Have I died and gone to heaven? I signed my wishes to everyone on the board, as royalty does. Maps, Boity, Jessica Nkosi, DJ Zinhle (who brought the house down with her set), Melody Molale, Lee-Ann Liebenberg – the list goes on all in one room, it ws star-studded. And to think, people all across 80 countries in the world were celebrating in the same way. Incredible! I got to meet the mastermind behind the concept, Olivia De Longueil, who naturally goes by the hashtag #Queen1743. Loves it! Well deserved Best Dressed Male & Most Glamourous Female, were announced by two of my favourite people in South African fashion; Nkosiyati Khumalo (Editor of GQ Magazine) and Emile Gambade (Editor of Elle Magazine).  Miahs Moloto took it home for the guys, and the lovely Enhle Mbali received the award for the ladies. First time meeting her, and I adore her! We partied the night away, cause we slay, all day!

Last year was lovely, but this year it was on another level! It takes a lot to impress me, and I was blown away! I kinda want to be in Europe next year for Moët Party Day, but only Johannesburg knows how to make it festive. See you next year, wherever you maybe celebrating your Moët Moment!
